What is Prairie Group?

The Legend

Every year, we tell the story and history of Prairie Group, knowing our story expands with every passing year.

The Discipline

Like all spiritual practices, the work of scholarship and soul scribing requires attention, care, and discipline.

The Practice

Through the practice of study, scholarship, and discourse, we grow together in spirit, body, mind, and heart.

Lineage of Mind, Heart, and Soul

Since 1951, a meeting of minds have gathered to carry forward the legacy and embody the lineage of liberal religious thought and leadership on the prairie. We honor some of those who’s ministry, scholarship, and life have come to end, but whose spirit live on in the current membership of Prairie Group.
